Abstract:

These data sheets present a compilation of a wide range of electronic properties for diamond. Electrical properties include conductivity and resistivity, dielectric constant, Hall coefficient, mobility, and thermoelectric power. Emission data have been categorized into the various types of photon emission. Photoelectronic data is shown as well as a wide variety of irradiation effects. Energy data include energy bands, energy gap, and energy levels, as well as effective mass tables, lifetime and phonon energies. The optical properties include absorption, reflection, and refractive index. Magnetoelectric data are presented, as well as several other physical phenomena, such as Debye temperature and thermal conductivity. Each property is compiled over the widest possible range of parameters for the several diamond types, from references obtained in a thorough literature search. A sumary of crystal structure, phase transitions and the diamond types has been included. Author
