Spectroscopic Studies of Combustion Zones in Flame of Condensed Systems,
Abstract:
The authors pose the problem of identifying the flame radiation spectrum of condensed systems, establishing the distribution of revealed products with respect to the height of the flame, and, if possible, establishing their degree of participation in the combustion process. They studied the flame radiation spectrum of hexogen, a model mixed composition based on ammonium perchlorate and polymethylmethacrylate, and nitrocellulose. The flames which formed during combustion was studied by two spectral methods - photographic and photoelectric.
