Abstract:

This is an invention pertaining to the refractory material which is used as a structural or lining material in various installations operating in an oxygen-free medium. This is achieved by formulating the refractory material to contain the following wt. Si3N4 50-90 and, in addition, finely dispersed alpha-Al2O3 10-50.
