Hydrogen Adducts of Cobalt and Nickel Boride.
Abstract:
Interaction of sodium borohydride with salts of cobaltII or nickelII produces metal borides that have been found to contain hydrogen stoichiometries Co2B sup 1 and Ni2B sup 2 as have been suggested are inadequate in explaining the physical and chemical properties of these substances, and the tentative formulations Co2B5 H3 and Ni2B2 H3 have been tentatively assigned.
