Abstract:

The intent of this report is to synopsize the Scaler and Vector Diffraction Phenomena that characterize the electromagnetic effects of the Fresnel nearfield and Fraunhofer far-field Diffraction. Included in this report are the authors views concerning electromagnetic phenomena at the aperture by employing Babinets Principle. Modified author abstract
