Abstract:

SIMPL-T is a member of a family of languages that are designed to be relatively machine independent and whose compilers are relatively tranportable onto a variety of machines. It is a procedure oriented, nonblock structured programming language that was designed to conform to the standards of structured programming and modular design. There are three data types in SIMPL-T integer, string and character. This manual describes the implementation of the language SIMPL-T for the Univac 11061108 computers using the Exec 8 operating system.
