Abstract:

The document reports on work done on an analog data acquisition system for speech input to the PDP 8E computer during Summer 1973. The data acquisition system was designed to provide a flexible speech input system with ties to both a larger computer the IBM 1620, and a video display the DEC VT8E. This report describes the use of the analog data acquisition system, which is named the CLIPS AD Conversion System. The report also describes the use of a Speech Sampling and Display Program which makes use of the data acquisition system and the video display. Author
