reportActive / Technical Report | Accession Number: AD0778346 | Need Help?

Abstract:

An emergency control kit for resistant body lice has been found to work effectively for the fumigation of military uniforms. A plastic film is used to cover the clothing. A dosage rate of 40 to 50 Phostoxin pellets per 1000 cubic feet has been found to be effective in killing body lice in all stages, eggs and adults. It is anticipated that this kit will be procured and used only in the event that American ground forces are subjected to louse-borne diseases in an area where the currently used louse powders are ineffective.
