Reproducibility and Frequency Tuning of an Interdigitally Poled Ceramic Surface Acoustic Wave Transducer.
Abstract:
The concern of this project is for devices operating in the 2-50 MHz range, which includes IF filters for FM and TV receivers. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the reproducibility and tunability of a series of surface acoustic wave transducers which have been produced by identical processing steps on a polycrystalline ceramic substrate. Each transducer is a uniform interdigital array patterned on a substrate of PZT lead-zirconate-titanate. The degree of reproducibility is investigated.
