FBM (Fleet Ballistic Missile) Weapon System Provisioning Study,

During provisioning for FBM support, the Navy normally buys initial outfitting stock for the submarines allowances, stock for the submarine tenders FBM Weapon System load lists, and system backup stock for the depot. Tender load list material for other than the FBM Weapon System is not procured. This study investigates both the current policy of provisioning the FBM Weapon System tender load and system stock and various alternative provisioning policies to determine whether stock levels can be reduced, while still maintaining the high material availability standards required for the Navy to support the FBM Weapon System on FBM submarines.
