Abstract:

The paper describes the development of a hierarchical planning and scheduling system for a multiple plant, multiple product, seasonal demand situation. In this hierarchical structure, optimal decisions at an aggregate level planning provide constraints for detailed decision making scheduling. Modified author abstract
