Abstract:

An airborne magnetic survey of 1300 square kilometers of White Sands Missile Range and adjacent Fort Bliss was performed from an altitude of 3900 meters. A geomagnetic map and additional diurnal magnetic variation data are presented. Some aspects of the geological contributions to the magnetic field are discussed. Author
