Remote Control Systems,
Abstract:
A high-capacity remote control system is equivalent in its complexity and number of parts to a digital computer, but operates under more severe climatic conditions and frequently without duty personnel at the controlled object. This has a negative influence on its reliability and hinders reliable transmission of signals. As the information capacity and requirements for reliability increase, a tendency began to appear toward sporadic addressed transmission of digital binary codes with adaptation to the noise level in the communications channel. This increases the automatic nature of actions and allows the range of functions which can be performed to be expanded.
