Abstract:

The work is concerned with the development of a model that examines interactive effects among five central environmental descriptors international conflict, international alignment, economic interdependence, internal instability, and national power base. The overall purpose of the model is to acquaint national security analysts with modern long-range forecasting techniques and to provide a long-range forecast of Europe 1985-1994 using the aforementioned descriptors.
