Factors Influencing Ship Repair Part Consumption.
Abstract:

Factors considered included steaming hours, fuel consumption, overhaul schedules and overhaul mandays, and ship age. Overall Navy-wide linear models were developed for NSA odd cog stock numbered items, for APA even cog stock numbered items, for Other odd cog manufacturers part-numbered items items without a Federal Stock Number assigned, and for a combined overall repair part model. In addition, some of the same models were developed for the Pacific and Atlantic fleets and for certain ship types. Author
