Abstract:

Software support for applications programs using an intelligent graphics satellite configuration, falls into four categories of increasing complexity stand-alone interactive plotting, satellite interactive plotting, stand-alone interactive design, and satellite interactive design. Two softwarehardware systems are described. The first makes use of standard, off-the-shelf equipment to provide a cost-effective answer for most graphic applications. The second provides a laboratory for expanding the state-of-the-art in the area of advanced intelligent satellite processing. Author
