Abstract:

The MK VI MOD XI Mixed Gas, Semi-Closed Circuit SCUBA control block assembly was bench tested by the Navy experimental Diving Unit during the period 21-25 February 1972. The purpose of testing was to evaluate modifications which were incorporated into the control block assembly as a result of descrepancies noted during Fleet OPEVAL completed in March 1971. Test results indicate that the equipment now meets the necessary certification requirements for service approval of the MK VI MOD XI SCUBA. Author
