Parallel Plate Transmission Line Pockels Cell

Abstract:

Design details were worked out for the construction of a KDP Pockels cell capable of splitting out one or more pulses with a contrast ratio of 10001 or better from a NdYAG mode-locked pulse train. In addition, the two-port stripline construction of this Pockels cell makes possible the accurate sequential opening of two or more Pockels cell shutters from the same electrical signal.
