Abstract:

The report presents the results from the development of the zinc air battery which is mechanically rechargeable by inserting new zinc anodes. The battery delivers an average of 105 A. H. under continuous discharge of 8.3 amps at 72F. The report discusses the design and development of feasibility type model, construction techniques and the test results.
