Determination of Coefficients of Linear Expansion on a Chevenard Dilatometer,

reportActive / Technical Report | Accession Number: AD0749735 | Need Help?

Abstract:

The article discusses the determination of coefficients of linear expansion on a Chevenard dilatometer. It is pointed out that some parts of turbines from different materials can undergo, as a result of heating, the action of secondary stresses induced by the difference in the coefficients of expansion. An example can be a nozzle on a disk on a turbine, when the bore in the disk is less by approximately 0.2 mm than the diameter of the shaft to 100 degrees Experiments were conducted of preheating of the disk Stalin Metal Plant.
