Visual Illusions Caused by the Stroboscopic Effects of Lighting on Inustrial Machinery.
Abstract:
The report investigates the visual illusions caused by the stroboscopic effects of lighting on rotating and reciprocating machinery. The lamps studied were fluorescent, mercury vapor, and incandescent. The results from the experimentation showed stroboscopic effects for the fluorescent and the mercury vapor lamps.
