Abstract:

An advanced method which is phenomena-based has been developed in an endeavor to predict steam catapult performance with minimized test correlation effort. This report presents the evaluation of this method by use of present day available shipboard test data. Special techniques are developed to handle these data. The capability of the method is substantiated herein and means to achieve its full potential are also included. Author
