Abstract:

The object of the program was to design, develop, fabricate and deliver a high performance, self-contained thyristor tester with capability of modular add-ons for future equipment requirements so as to sustain a full test capability for complete characterization of high speed, high current and voltage thyristors. The equipment was designed and built to enable testing from a centralized test station by a semi-skilled operator without prior experience in power testing. Author
