Abstract:

The properties and areas of use of bimetal rolled goods, steel-nonferrous metals, are presented. The following are considered the results of theoretical and experimental study of the process of combined rolling with plastic deformaltion of heteorogeneous metals the peculiarities of the bonding of metals the effect of technological factors on the adhesive strength of the layers the mechanical and operating properties of bimetals. Technological and equipment parameters for production of bimetals by fagot or foll methods in a hot, warm, or cold state are presented. Methods of quality control of the bimetal rolled goods are described.
