A Logarithmic Pulse Generator.

A pulse generator is described which produces several decades of pulses at intervals of 1, 2, 4, and 8. The user can choose the first and last decade of output. In the illustrated version, the first available pulse occurs at 100 microseconds after the generator is triggered, the last available pulse at 8 s. Pulses are typically 4 volts high and 2 microseconds wide. The circuit is implemented primarily with standard TTL transistor-transistor logic integrated circuits. Author
