Abstract:

Integrated logistics support ILS is a concept focusing on the interactions of functional elements of ILS with each other and with system design considerations. The monograph attempts to overview the ILS concept in the Air Force through a review of the development of ILS and discussions of the interactions ILS elements as applied to the system acquisition process. The purpose of the monograph is to set the stage for further study of the concept from a support perspective.
