The axial thrust bearing intended, for example, for a turbo-compressor used to supercharge an internal combustion engine, contains fixed and moving thrust elements in contact with the working shaft it is distinguished by the fact that in order to increase reliability the moving elements are made in the form of rings located between the fixed elements and connected with the working shaft by the friction force of an oil layer.
