Abstract:

The effort involves a studyanalysis of the feasibility of an improved doppler tracking system IDTS, as well as recommendations for equipment needed for a working system. The primary emphasis of the task was the analysis and selection of the best minicomputer for the IDTS. The report enumerates the requirements of an IDTS which would be capable of data acquisition and on-site analysis of doppler tracking data. The report also includes many reference articles explaining various evaluation criteria for choosing a minicomputer and several tabulations comparing popular computer parameters. Author
