PLASMA DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES AND GENERATION.
Abstract:
The report includes a history of the FDCL arc head and its operation. It also describes a technique for starting a low pressure, positive voltage-current characteristic, DC arc by using two separate power sources, an AC starting driver and a DC operating power supply. A Langmuir probe and a microwave interferometer have been used to measure the electron density and temperature in a plane 30 cm from the anode exit of the engine. Author
