Abstract:

The theory developed in this work concentrates on a problem in Multiport Network Theory, namely the synthesis of a finite scattering operator. Given a scattering matrix S or a transfer scattering matrix Sigma sub 21 between prescribed terminals, it is asked to determine an algorithm in order to realize networks which implement the given function.
