Abstract:

A description is given of a computer memory unit. It contains magnetic bias lines, selection and write lines which thread through auxiliary switching magnetic cores, working memory magnetic cores with output windings, coupling windings, auxiliary numeric magnetic cores, with auxiliary numeric selection lines, and output windings, and semiconductor diodes. Samples of the described unit were built having a storage capacity of 256 bits and a word length of 13.
