Abstract:

The paper gives the physical and chemical properties of rhenium, based on the most recent literature available in the USSR and abroad. Some attention is devoted to the alloys of rhenium. Also covered are the effects of rhenium on recrystallization of metals, the effect of temperature on the mechanical properties of rhenium, and the fields of application for rhenium. Author
