Abstract:

The exact median percentage points of order statistics have been computed by use of methods indicated in the text, and a table for N 11252510050200 with six significant figures is presented. A general approximation formula, involving three parameters, has been proposed and its capacity has been examined. Parameters of the two-parametric version have been determined and introduced into the formula, which yields a very high accuracy. Author
