DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF IXODID TICKS IN UZBEKISTAN,

Abstract:

The ixodid tick fauna of Uzbekistan is represented by six genera. They are Ixodes, Haemaphysalis, Boophilus, Dermacentor, Rhipicephalus, and Hyaloma. The ecology and hosts for species from each genus is discussed.
