Abstract:

A laboratory fatigue test system has been developed to allow testing of thin-walled cylinders of varying geometry and material at elevated temperatures under conditions of cyclic internal pressure. The system has a pressure limit of 10,000 psi, a temperature limit of 1500F, and utilizes specimens with a 3.205 inch bore diameter. Author
