EFFECT OF AIRFOIL SHAPE ON THE AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A WING NEAR A GROUND-PLATE SURFACE.
Abstract:
Considered is the two-dimensional problem of motion of a slender wing in a potential fluid flow at small distances from a solid ground-plate, which corresponds to the case of high-speed motion of a wing above the interface between two fluids of different density. The problem is solved under the assumption that the fluid is ideal and incompressible, the motion outside the wing is potential, the wing is slender, and the angles of attack are small. Author
