Abstract:

The report presents power levels at various points throughout Military Tactical Trunking Systems. Both 2-wire and 4-wire systems are presented, and OdB and 3dB trunks explained. Calculations of power levels at the telephone receiver input are presented for three cases a maximum power, b minimum power, and c typical power, and compatibility between the 2-wire and 4-wire system is demonstrated.
