reportActive / Technical Report | Accession Number: AD0695458 | Need Help?

Abstract:

Various factors that are pertinent to the implementation and operation of precision timing systems are identified and evaluated. These factors include basic concepts associated with timekeeping, time scales, stable clocks and establishment and maintenance of time synchronization between remotely located clocks. As an example of the application of these factors, the precision timing system recently implemented in the United States Air Force USAF Satellite Control Facility SCF is described. Author
