The following questions are considered 1 the effectiveness of streptomycin therapy for guinea pigs infected by various methods 2 the importance of defensive forces of the macroorganism during streptomycin therapy 3 the rate at which the organs of the guinea pig are rid of tularemia bacilli under the influence of streptomycin therapy 4 the effect of streptomycin on the properties of tularemia bacilli in the living organism and in an artificial culture medium 5 the importance of the antibacterial activity of streptomycin in the mechanism of tularemia therapy.
