PHOTOELECTRIC CROSS SECTIONS IN THE keV RANGE,
Abstract:
Photoelectric cross sections have been computed, using bound-state wavefunctions and potentials from a relativistic Dirac-Slater self-consistent-field program and numerical integration for the continuum wavefunctions and the matrix elements. Results for aluminum in the range 1-150 keV and for uranium in the range 80-150 keV are compared with existing experimental and theoretical data, with particular emphasis on the angular distributions.
