Abstract:

The proposed method for determining the performance of additive oils on the special one cylinder IKM-1 engine unit with a 4-cycle air-cooled carburetor makes it possible to evaluate base oils in relation to their chemical composition, original raw material, and technological processing to determine the functional properties of individual additives and, to select optimum combinations of additives to obtain the desired type of oils.
