CAPACITIVE EFFECTS IN AMORPHOUS CHALCOGENIDE THIN FILMS.
Abstract:
Certain amorphous materials exhibit rapid electrical switching. The variation in their capacitance was evaluated as a function of temperature and electric field. At zero bias, the capacitance of such materials follows a Curie-Weiss law. However, it decreases rapidly as the bias approaches the switching threshold and, under certain conditions, it shows negative values close to threshold as well as at low temperatures. Author
