INVESTIGATION OF THE ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF SOME HEAT-RESISTANT SYNTHETIC FILMS USED IN MAKING CAPACITORS,
Abstract:
The results are reported of an experimental study of electrical properties of 10-20 micromoles thick polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE, polyethylene terephthalate PETP, and polycarbonate PC films. As these films are only slightly hygroscopic, vacuum-sprayed Ag electrodes were used. To prevent dimensional instability, teflon was preheated for several hours at 250C before its electrical properties were measured. Author
