ACTIVE RC SYNTHESIS TECHNIQUES FOR SIGNIFICANT REACTANCE REDUCTION,
Abstract:
Many developments in the field of active RC synthesis have been motivated exclusively by the desire to eliminate the necessity of inductance by utilization of the active element. Recently, and to an increasing extent with the advent of molecular electronics, considerable attention has been given to the problem of overall system sensitivity to component variations. The need for reactance reduction arises in the design of immittance functions which involve poles relatively close to the origin in combination with low system impedance levels. This report is concerned with a solution to the following problem design an RC circuit for specified low input and output resistance such that the final network contains small values of reactance and minimizes circuit sensitivity.
