Abstract:

Melting points, dielectric constants and surface tensions of model polyethers HCH2yOxCH2yH were measured, where y 4, 5, 6 and 10 and x 2, 3 and 4. These, and previously reported values of densities and refractive indices are discussed in terms of molecular structure. Some of the physical properties of the corresponding high polymers were estimated. Author
