Abstract:

This report contains a glossary of electro-optical terms for use in laboratory and field testing of missiles and weapon systems. Appendices containing selected handbook information applicable to electro-optical seeker testing are also included. The material for this report was prepared by a tri-service working group comprised of members of the Sub-Study Group on Electro-Optical Seekers SSG-EOS which is connected with the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Air-Launched Non-Nuclear Ordnance JTCG-ALNNO.
