Abstract:

The manual supersedes the 1943 edition of the Diving Manual, and supplements the instructions given in Bureau of Ships Manual, Chapter 94, Salvage Section II, Diving. It contains information in regard to the physiological aspects of diving which are not included in Chapter 94 of the Bureau of Ships Manual. The additional instructions are given in the Manual for the purpose of training personnel.
