Abstract:

The report presents results of experimental performance tests conducted on a water jet propulsion unit designed for a shallow-draft boat. The unit tested was designed to power a one-ton payload boat at 20 knots and High Speed Channel testing was conducted. Data are presented in graphical form. Drawings including machinery arrangements are included in the report. The incorporation of weed cutters is included as part of the discussion on the water jet unit. Author
