CASCADE DATA FOR HIGH CAMBER BLUNT TRAILING EDGE BLADES,
Abstract:
A blunt trailing edge blade is tested at inlet Mach numbers varying from 0.60 to 1.00, over an incidence range of -3 to 7 degrees. Increase of the solidity from 2 to 3 increased turning and static pressure coeffcient by 6 degrees and 7 respectively. The corresponding minimum loss coefficient decreased from 20 to 17. Important compressibility effects are observed in this high cambered blade passage. This allows back pressure application. Systematic testing is performed for the incidences at Mach number 0.80 and 9.90. Author
