Abstract:

The paper contains the development of the construction of the alkali metal ion source which offers the possibility, in contrast to existing constructions, to function in unsoldered sealed-off systems. The operation of the source is based on phenomena of thermoionization of alkali metal atoms on a highly heated heated to a high temperature surface of a metal with greater work function. Author
